Mumbai: Bollywood icon Dharmendra has been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, sparking concern among fans and the film fraternity.
Family sources, however, have reassured the public that there is no cause for alarm. The 90-year-old actor is undergoing routine medical check-ups related to age-related health matters and is in stable condition.
Dharmendra, celebrated as a legend of Indian cinema, has left an indelible mark with memorable performances in blockbuster films such as Sholay, Chupke Chupke, Dharam Veer, Dream Girl, and Yamla Pagla Deewana.
Sources confirm that the veteran actor is expected to return home soon. Recently, he appeared alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in the film Teri Baatein Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and is set to star in Akis with Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, Augustya Nanda.
Fans are sending him well-wishes and hoping for a speedy recovery.
