Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal has expressed immense joy and anticipation as he prepares to embrace fatherhood with his wife, Katrina Kaif. Speaking at the Yuvaa Conclave in Mumbai on October 15, the actor described the experience as one of life’s greatest blessings, sharing that he is eagerly looking forward to becoming a dad.
“I’m really looking forward to it. It’s a huge blessing exciting times, almost there, so fingers crossed,” Kaushal said with a smile, adding humorously that he doesn’t think he’ll be stepping out of the house once the baby arrives.
The news of Katrina Kaif’s pregnancy was officially confirmed in September through an Instagram post showing the couple together, with Katrina lovingly holding her baby bump. Fans and fellow celebrities warmly congratulated the duo, flooding social media with heartfelt messages.
According to Bollywood Hungama, the couple is entering a new and beautiful chapter, with reports hinting that the due date is fast approaching.
Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal continues to promote his upcoming historical film ‘Chhaava’, even as he navigates the excitement of his growing family. Earlier this year, he addressed controversy surrounding a Lezim dance sequence from the movie a traditional Maharashtrian folk performance explaining that it was meant to honor and showcase the state’s cultural heritage.
“The lezim part was just for 20-30 seconds,” Kaushal clarified in a recent interview. “It wasn’t simply part of the story, but an effort to share our culture with the world. Sambhaji Maharaj was a king of the people, and if someone asked him to play lezim, he surely would.”
With fatherhood around the corner and a major film release on the way, Vicky Kaushal seems to be entering one of the most meaningful and exciting phases of his life.
