Viewers Call ‘Meri Zindagi Hai Tu’ ‘Pure Trash’ as Criticism Mounts Online

Pakistani drama Meri Zindagi Hai Tu is facing strong backlash on social media after viewers slammed its recent episodes, calling the storyline “pure trash.” The criticism began trending late Sunday as clips from the show circulated online, with many accusing the makers of weak writing, exaggerated performances and repetitive tropes.

Fans also questioned why the production continues to rely on melodrama instead of character-driven storytelling. Some viewers urged the makers to “respect the audience’s intelligence” and bring improvements before the show loses more ratings.

Despite the backlash, the production team has not yet issued any statement or response regarding the criticism.
