KARACHI : A woman was killed in an alleged shooting incident during a dispute in Korangi No. 1, police said.
According to details, the incident occurred near Siddiq Akbar Mosque in Sector 32-B, within the jurisdiction of Korangi Police Station, where 50-year-old Parveen, wife of Abdul Rasheed, was fatally shot.
Police and rescue officials reached the scene shortly after the incident and shifted the body to a hospital.
Korangi SHO Adeel Afzal said that a clash between two local groups was taking place when the firing occurred. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
