LAHORE – Pakistani actor Zahid Ahmed has made bold remarks about social media, describing it as “the work of the devil” and criticizing the growing obsession with digital platforms.

Speaking during a recent podcast, Zahid Ahmed took a strong stance against the influence of social media and modern-day lifestyles. He said, “Social media is the work of the devil, and those who create content on it will go to hell.”

Acknowledging that his statement might appear controversial since he himself uses social media, the actor clarified that he was only sharing his personal belief.

Zahid Ahmed went on to say that publicly displaying one’s private life, children, and daily activities is not appropriate. According to him, social media has caused more harm to humanity than any other modern invention.

His comments quickly went viral, sparking mixed reactions among users. Some agreed with his perspective, praising his honesty, while others criticized him for being too harsh and judgmental.

Zahid Ahmed, known for his powerful screen presence and thought-provoking roles, began his career in radio before moving on to theatre and television, where he earned recognition for his diverse performances.
