Pakistan completed a dominant 3-0 clean sweep over Bangladesh in the T20I series at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, sealing the third and final match with a commanding seven-wicket win.
Chasing a stiff target of 197 runs, Pakistan’s top-order batter Mohammad Haris stole the show with a sensational unbeaten knock of 107 runs off just 46 balls, smashing seven sixes and eight boundaries. His fearless batting dismantled the Bangladeshi attack and left the crowd roaring.
Earlier, Bangladesh posted 196/6, thanks to solid contributions from Parvez Hossain Emon (66) and Tanzid Hasan (42). Despite their effort, the Pakistani bowlers kept the scoring under check in the death overs, setting up the chase.
Captain Babar Azam praised the team’s spirit, saying, “The boys showed great intent throughout the series. We’re building good momentum ahead of upcoming tournaments.”
With this clean sweep, Pakistan sends a clear warning to rivals ahead of the T20 World Cup later this year.
