A total of 232 new dengue cases have been reported across Sindh, with Karachi recording the highest number at 127 cases.
According to the Sindh Health Department, dengue cases are increasing across the province. In government hospitals, 34 new dengue patients were admitted, while 17 were admitted to private hospitals, bringing the total number of hospitalized patients in the province to 44.
The statement said that 17 patients were admitted to government hospitals in the Karachi division, while 9 new patients were admitted to government hospitals in Hyderabad.
The Health Department reported that in the last 24 hours, 38 patients were discharged from government hospitals and 34 from private hospitals after recovering.
According to the DG Health Sindh, no dengue related deaths were reported across the province in the past 24 hours.
He said that 2,432 people were tested for dengue in Sindh, out of which 232 tested positive. The highest number of cases were reported from laboratories in Karachi at 123, followed by Hyderabad with 109 positive reports.
