In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 32 new patients have been admitted to hospitals during the last 24 hours.
According to the Health Department, the total number of hospitalized dengue patients has reached 98. The highest number of patients 21 were admitted to DHQ Hospital Charsadda and MMC Mardan. In Peshawar’s three major hospitals, 11 patients are admitted to HMC, 7 to LRH, and 5 to KTH.
In addition, 17 patients are admitted to DHQ Haripur, 6 to DHQ Bajaur, 3 to ATH, 5 to Bacha Khan Medical Complex Swabi, and 2 to Mufti Mehmood Memorial Hospital D.I. Khan.
The total number of active dengue cases in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa stands at 276. The highest risk district so far is Charsadda, where 256 cases were reported in September alone.
So far, 2,880 dengue cases have been confirmed across the province; however, no deaths due to dengue have been reported yet.
