Sindh Cabinet Gives Nod To Important Changes In Education Boards Law

KARACHI-Sindh Cabinet in a sitting of council at Chief Ministers House on August 7, 2025 have approved amendment to Sindh Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (Amendment) Bill 2015.

As stated by the CM House spokesman, the amendments would be in place to have a level balance in educational boards. Cabinet also coined a steering committee made of the provincial boards.

After the amendment, a Grade 19 or 20 officer can be appointed by the controlling authority i.e the provincial government as chairman of any board.
