HAFIZABAD : A harrowing incident of triple murder unfolded in the Pindi Bhattian tehsil of Hafizabad district when three people were brutally gunned down and their vehicle set ablaze by unidentified attackers.
According to police, the victims—an uncle, his nephew, and another companion—were travelling towards Asadullah Pur village when assailants intercepted their car near Vanike Tarar police station limits. The attackers opened indiscriminate fire, killing all three on the spot, before torching the vehicle.
Rescue teams and police reached the crime scene where the charred bodies were recovered. SHO Vanike Tarar, Liaquat Ali Bhatti, confirmed that a probe has been launched, while the perpetrators remain at large.
