It was a time when the land of Arabia was engulfed in the darkness of ignorance. Society was divided between rich and poor, women were subjected to oppression, and newborn daughters were buried alive. Amidst this environment, the glad tidings reached Hazrat Abdul Muttalib (RA) — the birth of the leader of mankind, the Seal of Prophets, Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (Peace Be Upon Him).

Born Day:

The blessed day was Monday, the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal. On that day, the winds seemed to dance with joy, the earth felt honored, and the heavens looked upon the world with pride, for the greatest of all prophets had arrived. It is narrated that on this blessed occasion, not a single daughter was born in Arabia, as Allah the Almighty had chosen to bestow His mercy upon the earth through His most beloved Prophet.

The First Miracle:

When the Prophet (PBUH) was born, he was an orphan, and no wet nurse was willing to take him. Similarly, Halima Saadia (RA) was not chosen by anyone to nurse their child. But the will of Allah elevated her destiny — she was honored with becoming the foster mother of the Final Messenger. From that day onward, blessings filled her home. It is said that her house was illuminated with such divine light that even a fallen needle could be seen in the dark. Other women would look at her with admiration, envying the honor bestowed upon her.

The Eternal Means of Intercession

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the divine means of mercy sent for all creation. Even the very first prophet, Hazrat Adam (AS), sought forgiveness from Allah by invoking the blessed name of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) written on the Throne. To this day, Muslims across the world turn to Allah, praying for their wishes and needs through the wasilah (means) of the Holy Prophet. His birth is commemorated with gatherings of Milad, the distribution of food, and a renewed commitment to live life according to the teachings of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH).
