Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid, has urged the government to declare the country’s flood-affected areas as disaster zones. She appealed to all political parties to set aside their differences and join hands in supporting flood victims.

During her visit to the flood-hit regions of Swabi, Buner, and Swat, Rubina Khalid distributed relief items among the victims, including blankets, tents, clean drinking water, and food supplies.

Speaking to the media on the occasion, she said that BISP staff stand firmly with the flood victims during these difficult times. She added that BISP teams are conducting surveys across the country to assess the damages and ensure that no affected family is overlooked.
