The trophy for the much-anticipated Pakistan–South Africa Test series has officially been unveiled, setting the stage for what promises to be an exciting clash between two top cricketing nations.

Players and officials from both teams attended the unveiling ceremony held at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Captains Babar Azam and Temba Bavuma posed with the glittering trophy, symbolizing the start of a high-stakes battle for supremacy in the red-ball format.

The series marks the continuation of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025–27 cycle, making every match crucial for both sides. Pakistan will rely heavily on their experienced batting lineup led by Babar Azam and Abdullah Shafique, while their bowling attack, spearheaded by Shaheen Afridi and Hasan Ali, will look to exploit home conditions.

South Africa, on the other hand, will enter the series full of confidence with Kagiso Rabada, Marco Jansen, and Aiden Markram expected to play key roles.

The first Test is scheduled to begin later this week, with fans eagerly waiting to see whether Pakistan can defend home soil or if the Proteas will strike early in the subcontinent challenge.
