A wave of robberies struck Dera Allah Yar in a single night, as unknown criminals looted a medical store, an Easypaisa shop, and a roadside cabin, escaping with cash worth hundreds of thousands of rupees and other valuables.
According to police, the incidents took place within the jurisdiction of the Dera Allah Yar City Police Station, in the Sohbatpur area. The culprits broke the locks of all three establishments during the night and fled the scene after looting the premises.
The local trader community staged a strong protest against the increasing lawlessness, demanding the immediate arrest of those involved in the thefts.
Police have launched further investigations into the incident.
