The University of Karachi conducted the admission test for the Department of Visual Studies for the 2026 academic year on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM. The test was held at the Department of Economics, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
A total of 264 applications were received for 140 available seats, while 256 candidates appeared for the test. The In-Charge of the Directorate of Admissions, Professor Dr. Saima Akhtar, and In-Charge of the Department of Visual Studies, Syed Shamoon Haider, supervised the examination process.
Registrar Professor Dr. Imran Ahmed Siddiqui, along with Dean Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Professor Dr. Samina Saeed, Dr. Saima Akhtar, and Medical Officer Dr. Muhammad Hassan Auj, also visited the examination centers to review arrangements.
The results of the admission test will be announced on October 28, 2025, and uploaded to the candidates’ admission portals.
