QUETTA – In a tragic incident, unidentified armed men shot dead the brother of Balochistan Assembly member Rahmat Saleh Baloch in Panjgur district on Sunday.
According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Panjgur, the incident occurred near the victim’s residence when unidentified assailants opened fire on Waleed Saleh Baloch, killing him on the spot. The body was shifted to a nearby hospital for legal formalities.
Police have launched an investigation into the attack and initiated efforts to trace and arrest the culprits.
Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti took notice of the incident and sought a detailed report from the Commissioner and DIG Makran Division.
Expressing deep sorrow over the killing, the Chief Minister vowed that those responsible would be brought to justice. He also extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, assuring them of full government support and commitment to ensure justice.
