President Asif Zardari Extends Diwali Greetings to Hindu Community

Islamabad — President Asif Ali Zardari has extended heartfelt greetings to the Hindu community in Pakistan and around the world on the occasion of Diwali.

In his message, the President said that Diwali symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. The festival serves as a reminder of universal values such as peace, tolerance, compassion, and harmony.

He acknowledged the valuable role played by all religious minorities in Pakistan’s progress and prosperity, reaffirming the state’s commitment to protecting the rights of minorities.

President Zardari expressed hope that the joyous occasion of Diwali would further promote love, brotherhood, mutual respect, and national unity.

He concluded his message by once again extending his warm wishes to the Hindu community, praying that the festival brings happiness, light, and peace to all citizens.
