Nicki Minaj has voiced support for U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent comments about Christian persecution in Nigeria, urging global respect for all faiths.
Sharing Trump’s post on X, Minaj wrote that it made her feel “a deep sense of gratitude” to live in a country where people can worship freely. “No group should ever be persecuted for practising their religion,” she said.
Responding to a Muslim fan, she added, “There are extremists in every religion. Sending love to our Muslim Barbz. Everyone should be able to worship in peace.”
Her remarks drew mixed reactions online some praised her for promoting unity, while others were surprised given her past criticism of Trump’s immigration policies.Still, Minaj’s message of tolerance stood out: faith, she said, should be a reason to connect, not divide.
