Pakistani actress Romaisa Khan has voiced her frustration over the delays in payment within the entertainment industry, revealing that artists often have to plead repeatedly to receive their rightful dues.
In a recent viral interview, the actress openly shared her disappointment, saying that it feels humiliating to keep asking for her own money. “I feel like I’m begging for what I’ve already earned,” she said, adding that her hesitation to keep demanding payment has cost her many times.
Romaisa explained that when payments are not made on time, she chooses not to chase after them again, even though it often results in criticism from colleagues and disapproval from senior industry figures.
Her candid remarks have once again brought attention to a persistent issue of delayed payments and lack of professionalism in Pakistan’s showbiz industry a concern already echoed by several other artists in recent months.
