Pakistan Shaheens have arrived in Doha, Qatar, ahead of the ACC Men’s Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025, which kicks off on November 14 at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium.

The 15-member squad, led by Muhammad Irfan Khan, completed a four-day intensive training camp at Karachi’s Hanif Mohammad High-Performance Centre before flying to Qatar on Wednesday morning.

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the tournament aims to provide exposure to emerging talent from across Asia, giving the next generation of cricketers an international platform.

> “Our goal is to perform well and represent Pakistan with pride,” said captain Irfan Khan, before the team’s departure. “This is a big opportunity for every young player to make a mark.”

Pakistan Shaheens are placed in Group B alongside Oman, India A, and UAE A. Their opening match is scheduled against Oman on November 14. The semi-finals and final will be held later this month, with all matches being played in Doha.

Coaches believe the young squad, which includes several players who impressed in the National T20 Cup, has the potential to reach the knockout stages.

Cricket observers view this event as a key step in preparing future stars for senior international duty.
