PML-N senior leader Ahsan Iqbal has claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s current political approach is “aligning with anti-Pakistan elements,” sparking a fresh round of political debate. Speaking to reporters, he accused PTI leaders of adopting a narrative that, according to him, harms national unity.
Iqbal stated that the country is facing major economic and security challenges and that political parties should work towards stability rather than confrontation. He added that irresponsible statements and actions only strengthen forces that seek to destabilize the country.
PTI has not yet issued a formal response to Ahsan Iqbal’s remarks. Political analysts say such accusations reflect the increasing polarization in the country’s political landscape, where parties continue to exchange sharp criticism amid rising tensions.
