Former Pakistani cricketer Moin Khan has strongly rejected all false reports circulating on social media about his alleged death.
Yesterday, social media was flooded with fake claims that the 54-year-old had passed away due to a heart attack, creating panic among users.
In reality, it was Moin Khan Rajput, a 65-year-old senior cricketer from Hyderabad (Sindh), who had died — but social media users mistakenly shared the news using the former Pakistan captain’s photo and name.
After the rumors spread, the ex-wicketkeeper shared a video message confirming that he is absolutely fine and in good health.
He criticized those responsible for spreading the false news, saying that the rumor had been circulating since morning and that the person who initiated it acted in an extremely irresponsible manner.
Moin Khan added that many of his friends became worried because of this baseless story. He urged social media users to verify information before posting, as sharing unconfirmed news creates unnecessary panic.
