Authorities at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi have granted permission to Uzma Khan to meet her brother Imran Khan — founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) — after several weeks of restricted access.

Uzma Khan left for the jail after being notified that her visit would be allowed — a decision welcomed by supporters outside the facility, who gathered ahead of her arrival.

The move comes amid mounting pressure and widespread protests over reported denials of family visits to Imran Khan in recent weeks.
