Women’s tennis players have once again dominated the list of highest-earning athletes, with tennis star Coco Gauff leading the rankings.
Details for the highest-paid female athletes of 2025 have been released, and according to US media, Coco Gauff has emerged as the top-earning athlete of the year.
Gauff earned a total of 31 million USD this year — including 8 million USD in prize money and 23 million USD from sponsorships and endorsements.

Tennis star Aryna Sabalenka ranked second with 30 million USD, receiving 15 million USD in prize money and the rest through agreements and brand deals.
Wimbledon champion Iga Świątek earned 23.1 million USD, which included 10.1 million USD in prize money and 13 million USD from endorsements.
According to American media reports, this is the third consecutive year that Coco Gauff has been the highest-earning female athlete.
So far, only four female athletes have crossed the 30-million-dollar mark in a single year — Coco Gauff, Aryna Sabalenka, Naomi Osaka, and Serena Williams.
Among the top 15 highest-earning athletes, 10 are tennis players, and within the top 10 highest-earning women, 7 are WTA stars. Freestyle skier Eileen Gu also earned 23 million USD this year.
