The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the winners of the Men’s and Women’s Player of the Month awards.
South Africa’s spinner Simon Harmer has been named the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for November following his outstanding performances against India. Harmer played a key role in the two-match Test series, claiming 17 wickets and earning the Player of the Series award.
Pakistan’s Mohammad Nawaz and Bangladesh’s Taijul Islam were also shortlisted for the men’s award.
In the women’s category, India’s opening batter Shafali Verma was crowned the ICC Women’s Player of the Month for November. Her strong performances helped her secure the award.
Shafali Verma was shortlisted alongside Thailand’s Thipatcha Putthawong and UAE’s Esha Oza.
