Because vaccines are not available, the threat of the super flu virus has grown across Pakistan.

‎The issue of super flu reached the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament. During a meeting of the sub committee of the Public Accounts Committee, Committee Convener Shahida Akhtar said that flu and allergy medicines are not even available at the Parliament dispensary, and major complaints are being received regarding the super flu virus in Pakistan.

‎Officials from the Ministry of Health said that globally, the super flu has not yet been properly diagnosed and no vaccine is available. They added that one of the major reasons for the spread of the epidemic is air pollution. Citizens were advised to follow precautionary measures, including wearing masks. The officials said that a new vaccine for super flu is awaited.

‎Shahida Akhtar said that any vaccine administered from abroad is effective, while vaccines available in Pakistan are not effective. She added that by the time research related to any epidemic is completed, the situation has already worsened.

‎Officials informed the participants that the virus variant changes every year. Along with super flu, another virus is also circulating. These days, the virus is more prevalent in northern areas, and this flu usually occurs from November to March.
