President Asif Ali Zardari has arrived in Abu Dhabi on a four-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

The president was received at the Presidential Flight Terminal of Zayed International Airport by UAE Minister of Justice Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi. Pakistani Ambassador to the UAE Shafqat Ali Khan was also present on the occasion.

President Zardari is accompanied by First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari and Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi. The visit will continue until January 29.

During his stay, President Zardari will hold meetings with the UAE leadership to review all aspects of bilateral ties. Discussions are expected to focus on enhancing cooperation in trade and economic partnership, as well as defence, security and people-to-people contacts.

The visit underscores the longstanding brotherly relations and close partnership between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.
