Police in Jhang have detained a teenage brother and sister on suspicion of murdering their father in the Mari Balochan area.
According to officials, about 10 days ago a case of alleged abduction was registered at Kot Shakir Police Station on the complaint of the victim’s son. However, during the course of investigation, police uncovered evidence suggesting that the 15-year-old boy, along with his 13-year-old sister, was allegedly involved in their father’s killing.
Police said the siblings allegedly buried the body in the courtyard of their house after committing the crime. Upon their identification, the suspected murder weapon was recovered from the rooftop of the residence.
Both minors have been taken into custody, and further investigation is underway to determine the motive and circumstances surrounding the incident.
