The second nationwide anti polio campaign will begin in Pakistan from April 13.

‎A target has been set to vaccinate 45 million children under the age of five across the country, while more than 400,000 frontline workers will take part in the anti-polio drive.

‎The campaign will be carried out across Sindh, Balochistan, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and Islamabad are also included.

‎This is an important step by the government to protect children up to five years of age from lifelong disability, and efforts are being accelerated under the leadership of the Government of Pakistan to eradicate polio.
