Here’s Where to Watch the 2026 NFL Draft Online for Free

Football fans don’t need a full cable package to follow the 2026 NFL Draft. This year’s draft is running from Thursday, April 23, through Saturday, April 25, in Pittsburgh, and the event is being carried across a wide mix of TV and streaming platforms, including ABC, ESPN, NFL Network, ESPN Deportes, the ESPN App, NFL+, and, for the first time this year, Disney+ and Hulu as part of Disney’s expanded distribution.

For viewers looking to watch online for free, the most realistic legal option is through free trials offered by live TV streaming services that carry the draft broadcasts. YouTube TV is advertising a free trial for the 2026 NFL Draft, and current roundups from major outlets also point to services such as Fubo as trial-based ways to stream the event without paying upfront.

There is also an old-school free route that still works for many people: ABC over the air. If you’re in a market where ABC is available and you have a digital antenna, you can watch parts of the draft live without a subscription at all. That won’t help everyone, of course, but it remains one of the simplest legitimate no-cost options.

The draft schedule is straightforward. Round 1 began at 8 p.m. Eastern on April 23, Rounds 2 and 3 started at 7 p.m. Eastern on April 24, and Rounds 4 through 7 began at noon Eastern on April 25. ESPN’s official coverage notes that the early rounds are available on ESPN, ABC, Disney+ and the ESPN App, while later coverage continues across ESPN platforms; the NFL’s own guide also lists NFL Network and NFL+ among the main viewing options.

What makes this year a little different is the wider streaming footprint. Disney says the draft is being distributed across a record number of platforms, with Disney+ and Hulu newly added to the usual ESPN and ABC setup. That gives cord-cutters more paths in than in previous years, even if “free” still mostly means trial access rather than a permanently free stream.

So the bottom line is pretty simple: if you want to watch the 2026 NFL Draft online for free, your best legal bets are a live TV free trial such as YouTube TV or Fubo, or ABC for free over the air where available. Fans who already subscribe to Disney+, Hulu, NFL+, or ESPN-connected services also have more flexibility than usual this year.
