A group of robbers allegedly posing as K-Electric workers looted a residential building in Karachi, according to initial reports. Authorities have not yet publicly confirmed full details of the incident, including the exact location, number of suspects, or the total value of the stolen items.

According to the reported account, the suspects gained access to the building by presenting themselves as utility staff, a tactic that allowed them to avoid immediate suspicion. Once inside, they allegedly carried out the robbery and fled the scene before police could respond.

Police are expected to review CCTV footage and collect statements from residents and witnesses as part of the investigation. It remains unclear whether the suspects specifically targeted the building in advance or chose it opportunistically.

The incident has renewed concern over criminals impersonating service personnel to enter homes and apartment buildings. Such methods exploit public trust in utility, maintenance, and delivery workers, making them especially troubling in dense urban neighborhoods.

Residents have been urged to verify the identity of utility staff before allowing entry, particularly in apartment blocks and multi-storey residential buildings. Security experts often advise building managements to confirm official visits directly with the relevant company and keep visitor logs where possible.

Since this specific case is not yet fully verified through strong mainstream reporting, some details may change as the investigation develops.
