MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is reportedly set to marry his longtime partner Gauri Spratt on July 5 in an intimate ceremony attended by close family members.
According to sources, the wedding will take place at Aamir Khan’s residence, with no large public celebrations planned. The guest list is expected to remain limited, although reports suggest that Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan may attend if their schedules permit.
Aamir and Gauri began dating in early 2024 after meeting in Bengaluru through the actor’s cousin, Nuzhat Khan. The actor publicly introduced Gauri as his partner during celebrations surrounding his 60th birthday in 2025.
Gauri, who previously worked with a salon chain in Bengaluru, is now associated with Aamir Khan Productions. Sources say the couple has been living together for more than a year.
Although their relationship became public recently, Aamir and Gauri have reportedly known each other for nearly 25 years. Their longtime friendship eventually developed into a romantic relationship.
Gauri is also the mother of a seven-year-old son, Quinn, from a previous marriage. She comes from a distinguished family background and is the granddaughter of Philip Spratt, a British-born political activist who later became involved in India’s independence movement.
Speaking about his relationship in a recent interview, Aamir said he and Gauri were deeply committed to each other and described their bond as a strong partnership. He added that, emotionally, he already considered himself married to her.
This will be Aamir Khan’s third marriage. He was first married to Reena Dutta in 1986, and the couple had two children, Ira Khan and Junaid Khan, before separating in 2002.
The actor later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005. The couple welcomed their son, Azad Rao Khan, through surrogacy before announcing their separation in 2021.
Despite both marriages ending in divorce, Aamir has maintained cordial relations with Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. The family is often seen together at important occasions and family gatherings while continuing to co-parent their children.
The upcoming wedding marks a new chapter in Aamir Khan’s personal life as he prepares to formalize his relationship with Gauri Spratt after years of friendship and more than two years of dating.
