An important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Provincial Minister for Health and Population Welfare Khawaja Imran Nazir, in which Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) Health and Medical Superintendents (MSs) from across the province participated online.
The meeting reviewed in detail the registration process of Community Health Inspectors. On the occasion, the Secretary Health and Population Welfare, Additional Secretary Technical, Additional Secretary Administration, and other senior officials were also present.
The Health Department issued clear instructions regarding registration to all CEOs Health and directed that the registration process be completed immediately in all districts.
It was stated during the meeting that the performance of districts where the registration process has already been completed is appreciated; however, immediate improvement is required in districts where delays have been observed.
Khawaja Imran Nazir made it clear that any delay or negligence in the registration process would not be tolerated. All CEOs Health were directed to ensure strict implementation of the guidelines issued by the department.
He said that the Community Health Inspectors project will play an important role in providing basic healthcare services to people at their doorsteps, which will help make the healthcare system more effective.
