The Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHCC) has further intensified its actions against quackery, conducting 2,837 raids across the province during the month of June, resulting in the sealing of 646 more illegal clinics and treatment centers.
According to a spokesperson for the Punjab Healthcare Commission, the highest number of raids was carried out in Lahore, where 457 inspections were conducted and 142 quack operated businesses were sealed.
The spokesperson further stated that anti quackery teams in Faisalabad conducted 123 raids and shut down 32 illegal centers, while 17 centers were sealed in Sargodha, 27 in Rajanpur, 43 in Kasur, and 23 each in Gujranwala and Sialkot.
