The number of deaths caused by measles across the country this year has reached 102.
In Sindh, 53 child deaths due to measles have been reported this year. A total of 7,105 suspected measles cases were reported in the province, of which 2,280 cases have been confirmed through laboratory testing.
Across the country, 29,066 suspected measles cases have been reported this year, while 8,309 cases were confirmed after laboratory testing. According to health experts, immediate measures are essential to control measles.
