The Directorate of Drug Control has issued an alert declaring different batches of four life saving medicines as fake and substandard.
According to the Directorate of Drug Control, a batch of painkiller tablet Brexin was found fake in laboratory testing. A batch of inflammation and pain medicine Danzen DS was also found fake. A batch of tablet Tonoflex P was also proven fake in laboratory tests, while a batch of antibiotic medicine tablet Novidat was also found fake.
The Directorate of Drug Control has ordered the immediate removal of the mentioned batches of all four medicines from the market stock.
