Washington D.C. – Newly elected Republican Congressman Randy Fine, known for his provocative statements, has drawn widespread condemnation after suggesting a nuclear attack on Gaza during an interview with Fox News.
Commenting on the killing of two staff members from the Israeli embassy in Washington, Fine declared, “The Palestinian cause is a force of evil.” He likened the situation in Gaza to World War II, arguing that the U.S. had not negotiated with the Nazis or Japanese but had instead used decisive force. “We nuked Japan twice to force unconditional surrender. The same approach should apply here,” Fine stated.
Fine, a close ally of U.S President Donald Trump, has a history of making inflammatory remarks against Palestinians. In 2021, he controversially responded to a post featuring an image of a deceased Palestinian child by saying, “I sleep just fine. Thanks for the picture.”
