The investigation into the death of Mir Raza Ali took a sharp turn Tuesday after the police surgeon officially reported a critical mismatch between photographic evidence and the post-mortem report.

The surgeon’s findings, submitted to the inquiry committee, suggest the physical state of the body during the examination does not align with the injuries documented in the initial medical report. These inconsistencies have fueled long-standing allegations from the victim’s family, who have insisted since the incident that the official narrative was scrubbed to protect powerful interests.

“The visual evidence captured at the scene and the morgue simply doesn’t square with what was written in the report,” a source close to the investigation said. “We aren’t just talking about minor clerical errors; we are talking about fundamental contradictions in how the trauma was assessed.”

The discrepancy centers on the nature and location of the injuries. While the initial report categorized the death under specific circumstances, the photographic record appears to show patterns of trauma that were entirely omitted from the final documentation. For the legal team representing the Ali family, this confirms their theory of a orchestrated cover-up.

“We’ve been saying this for months,” said a lawyer representing the family. “The report wasn’t written to record the truth. It was written to close the file.”

The police surgeon’s intervention now forces the department to explain how such a glaring gap occurred. Investigators are currently reviewing whether the oversight was a result of gross professional negligence or a deliberate attempt to obstruct the course of justice.

The inquiry committee has summoned the medical board responsible for the original autopsy to appear for questioning by week’s end. As scrutiny intensifies, the credibility of the entire forensic process in this case now hangs in the balance. Whether this leads to criminal charges against the medical staff or remains an internal disciplinary matter is the question keeping the victim’s family—and the public—waiting for a genuine answer.
