KARACHI: A tragic traffic accident on the newly constructed Shahrah-e-Bhutto bridge—which connects Korangi to the airport—resulted in the death of a woman and left three others in critical condition, ARY News reported.
According to rescue officials, a speeding vehicle collided with a Suzuki pickup truck from behind, triggering the severe crash. A total of 12 individuals, including five women and two children, sustained injuries in the mishap.
Emergency responders shifted all the victims to a nearby medical facility for immediate treatment. Hospital sources confirmed that while several injured are receiving care, three of the wounded remain in critical condition.
