United World Colleges (UWC) Pakistan has opened applications for the 2027 intake, offering Pakistani students an opportunity to apply for admission to UWC schools and colleges through the Pakistan National Committee.
The application window opened on September 1, 2026, and will remain open until September 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM Pakistan Standard Time.
Applicants must generally be 16 or 17 years old when starting the UWC academic year in September 2027. They must also be Pakistani citizens and residents of Pakistan at the time of application. Candidates should have completed at least 10 years of formal education and be on track to complete 11 years of education by September 2027.
UWC Pakistan is looking for students who demonstrate strong academic potential as well as qualities such as leadership, resilience, intercultural understanding, community engagement and a commitment to making a positive impact. English is the main language of instruction at UWC schools, although fluency is not required at the time of application.
The selection process includes an online application, essays and short responses, academic records and other required documents. Shortlisted candidates may then participate in assessments, group activities and interviews before final nominations are made.
Selected students may receive fully or partially funded placements, depending on demonstrated financial need and available support. Applicants are therefore encouraged to submit their applications before the deadline and carefully review the eligibility requirements.
