New York – A former top aide to Sean “Diddy” Combs testified Tuesday that the music mogul threatened to kill her on her first day of work and later kidnapped her at gunpoint in a furious attempt to confront and kill rapper Kid Cudi.
Capricorn Clark, former global brand director for Bad Boy Entertainment, gave emotional testimony in federal court as the third week of Combs’ sex trafficking and racketeering trial began in Manhattan. She described years of fear and intimidation, alleging that Combs used bodyguards, threats, and violence to maintain control over those around him.
Clark claimed that in December 2011, Combs forced her into a vehicle while brandishing a gun, furious that Kid Cudi was romantically linked to Combs’ then-girlfriend, Cassie (Casandra Ventura). She testified they drove to Cudi’s Los Angeles home, where Combs entered with a bodyguard while she remained in the car, calling Cassie in a panic.
“He’s going to kill him,” Clark recalled telling Cassie, as she heard Cudi in the background ask, “He’s in my house?”
The testimony supports prosecutors’ claims that Combs led a two-decade criminal conspiracy rooted in fear, silence, and abuse. Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty and faces up to 15 years to life in prison if convicted.
