The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has warned the public against fake messages circulating on social media and WhatsApp, claiming that people can receive a cash reward of Rs. 13,000 on the occasion of Iqbal Day.
According to the warning, these messages are fraudulent and are designed to mislead people and potentially steal their personal information.
The public has been advised not to click on suspicious links, share personal or banking information, or forward unverified messages. People should verify such announcements through official government sources.
The NCCIA has urged citizens to remain alert and protect themselves from online fraud and cybercrime.
