ISLAMABAD — A young TikToker, Sana Yousuf, was shot dead at her residence in Sector G-13, Islamabad, within the jurisdiction of the Sumbal police station, officials confirmed on Monday.
According to police sources, the 22-year-old, originally from Upper Chitral, was fatally shot by a guest who had come to visit her. The assailant fled the scene immediately after the incident, prompting the police to launch a manhunt.
The body has been shifted to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for a postmortem examination. Authorities say investigations are ongoing to determine the motive behind the killing and track down the suspect.
A senior police official stated that all possible leads are being pursued and assured the public that the accused will be brought to justice.
