A prestigious and compassion-driven blood donation camp was organized at Aligarh Institute of Technology (AIT), Karachi. The purpose of the camp was to collect blood donations for children battling cancer under the care of the Child Aid Association (CAA).

‎‎The event was jointly organized by the Department of DIIL, the Guidance Center of AIT, and the Child Aid Association (CAA).

‎On this occasion, Principal Shahid Jamil emphasized the importance of blood donation, stating that “every single drop of blood can save an innocent life.”

‎Tazeen Yousufi, Resource Development Manager at CAA, highlighted the organization’s mission, saying, “Child Aid Association is a leading institution in Pakistan providing 100% free cancer treatment to children.” She added that childhood cancer is different from adult cancer and is often curable if treated in time.

‎‎Convener of the camp, Syed Muhammad Mohsin Kazim, described the initiative as a golden opportunity to serve humanity and stressed the need to practically engage the youth in social welfare activities.

‎‎The camp was inaugurated by Chancellor of Sir Syed University, Mr. Muhammad Akbar Ali Khan, and Mrs. Iram Akbar Khan. During their visit, they expressed satisfaction over the arrangements and praised the enthusiastic participation of students and staff, describing it as a reflection of social awareness and a strong sense of empathy.
