Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a productive meeting with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during his official visit to Abu Dhabi. The two leaders expressed a shared resolve to elevate bilateral ties with a strong emphasis on economic cooperation, investment, and development.
The meeting took place at Qasr Al Shati, where both leaders exchanged Eid ul Adha greetings and conveyed best wishes for continued peace and prosperity across the Muslim world.
In their discussion, Prime Minister Shehbaz and Sheikh Mohamed reaffirmed their commitment to deepening cooperation and broadening their partnership to advance mutual interests and national development goals.
They also reviewed regional and international developments and stressed the need to support global efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability.
The Prime Minister praised the UAE’s role in promoting diplomacy, dialogue, and peaceful solutions to global crises. He also thanked the Emirati leadership for its continued support and impactful development projects in Pakistan.
Present at the meeting were senior UAE officials including Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed, and several key advisors and ministers. Prime Minister Shehbaz was accompanied by a delegation of ministers and senior Pakistani officials.
Earlier in the day, the Pakistani premier was warmly welcomed at Al Bateen Airport by Sheikh Tahnoun and other senior Emirati dignitaries.
