Pakistan will equip 300,000 youth with IT skills demanded in the market

The Pakistani government has revealed a massive plan to educate 300,000 learners in information technology (IT) talents in a bid to empower the youth and curb unemployment within the state.

The courses will be in such high-demand directions like software development, web design, cybersecurity, data analytics, and freelancing. It attracts young people who are both urban and rural by offering the latter the options of free or affordable training opportunities with the help of online platforms and training centers.

Such a move is seen as an aspect of the government that is gradually looking to digitally transform the country in the efforts to enhance the presence of Pakistan in the global tech sector.

The program would enhance economic prosperity since it would have qualified human resource that could be used in both local and global economies. The governmental representatives accentuated on the work of IT in terms of job creation and pointed at the fact that this project will provide thousands of students with new income sources.

The training will commence within several months, and the students will be able to subscribe to the service by using the special portal on the Internet.
