Karachi: Female students delivered a stronger overall performance than male students in the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) HSC Part-II Pre-Medical Annual Examinations 2026, outperforming boys in pass percentage, grades, and merit positions.
According to the official result data, 23,007 candidates appeared in the examination, with 14,134 students passing, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 61.43%. Girls recorded a significantly higher pass rate than boys and also dominated the top achievers’ list.
Female students secured all three top positions in the Pre-Medical group. Hafsa Khan topped the examination with 1,011 marks, followed by Huda Sarwer with 1,007 marks, while Aamna Aziz claimed the third position with 1,004 marks.
The results highlight the continued strong academic performance of female students in Karachi’s intermediate examinations, with girls leading boys across key performance indicators in the 2026 Pre-Medical results.
