The 2010–11 floods alone displaced nearly 10% of the population. This is a rising threat These disasters have caused billions in economic damage. JINNAH AVENUE: A Road in Ruins

The road near the U-turn on Jinnah Avenue in Model Colony, Karachi, is in terrible shape. It’s broken, flooded with sewage, and causing long traffic jams. A short drive that once took a minute now takes 15 especially during rush hour. This daily frustration affects commuters and residents alike. It’s time the Sindh government, KMC, and relevant departments step in and fix this ongoing problem. There are lots of roads like this suffering from same damage in the city

WATER FOR BIRDS: A Small Act, A Big Impact

Since 1900, Pakistan’s average temperature has increased by 0.6°C, making heatwaves worse especially for birds. These creatures are essential for pollination and controlling pests, yet many die silently during extreme heat due to lack of water. Placing a simple bowl of clean water outside can save their lives. This small gesture helps our environment and teaches kids compassion and responsibility. Let’s all do our part.
