The 2010–11 floods alone displaced nearly 10% of the population. This is a rising threat These disasters have caused billions in economic damage. Trees help protect the environment, but human actions such as cutting forests and releasing harmful gases are making the climate worse. Solving this crisis needs both national action and strong global cooperation no country can fix it alone.
JINNAH AVENUE: A Road in Ruins
The road near the U-turn on Jinnah Avenue in Model Colony, Karachi, is in terrible shape. It’s broken, flooded with sewage, and causing long traffic jams. A short drive that once took a minute now takes 15 especially during rush hour. This daily frustration affects commuters and residents alike. These creatures are essential for pollination and controlling pests, yet many die silently during extreme heat due to lack of water. Placing a simple bowl of clean water outside can save their lives. This small gesture helps our environment and teaches kids compassion and responsibility. Let’s all do our part.
