In a significant development, the Indian government has lifted its ban on Pakistani YouTube channels broadcasting dramas and showbiz content.
Back on April 22, following the Pahalgam attack in Indian-occupied Kashmir, New Delhi had imposed restrictions on several Pakistani news platforms, celebrity social media accounts, and drama-based YouTube channels, citing them as a threat to national security.
However, recent reports confirm that the ban on Pakistani entertainment channels has now been quietly removed, allowing Indian viewers to once again access Pakistani dramas online.
No official statement has yet been released by Indian authorities regarding the reversal of the decision.
Media analysts believe this move may be aimed at reducing digital tensions and reviving cultural engagement between Pakistan and India through online platforms.
